reminder that if you smoke, please ask for the consent of the people around you before you light a cigarette(or use e cigs or vapor pens or similar things). most people do not want to inhale second hand smoke for health reasons. there may also be a person with asthma near you who cannot inhale smoke without serious harm to their lungs. for me personally, and im sure others, it brings up bad memories of a family member who smokes/smoked heavily. these are only a few of the reasons why people wouldn’t want to be around smoke. im sure that there are many more, so please just be considerate and ask before you light up a cigarette. and if someone says no and you feel like its necessary to smoke, its not thar hard to find another place that is relatively empty in which to smoke. i understand that many people use smoking as a coping mechanism and I’m not going to say that its evil and if you smoke you’re a bad person, but please be aware that smoking is an activity that not only affects you, but the people around you and you need to take that into consideration. thank you.

“Consider: the Gods of Being oversee all of reality. They watch their big screens as all of humanity creates and destroys itself. Every day, a life ends: and everyday, new life is born. Everything happens in a balanced scale: decimation and rebirth, betrayal and compassion, passion and indifference. The Earth continues to turn as long as there is no remainder of leftover negative energy—she can’t be held back by an uneven division. So her Gods need to get rid of this excess now: to keep the Earth in rotation they need to erase the remainder from existence. They try a lot of things, and their mother’s rotation slows. They hurl it over to the next universe and it boomerangs back. They set it on fire, they drown it; they break its heart, they adore it; they empathize with it, they ignore it: nothing truly gets rid of it. Until one day, they discover that they can disseminate with it by smoking it. they gather up the excess (usually of negative) energy, and they each take hits of it. It clouds inside their lungs and enters into their brains like lemonade into a glass on a hot summer day in Virginia, and it fills them with such a sense of dread that it becomes a sense of resigned calm. Every day, they smoke it until it is all gone, and they do the same thing the next day, and for all the days after that. It starts to infect them, all this negativity they’ve been digesting. They become out of balance. But they continue to unbalance themselves to save their mother. They begin buying excess positive energy from the Gods of Being of other universes, and smoke that to even it out. This works great, but some of them get too happy on the stuff, and that can be a problem, but it’s a way smaller problem than the one they originally had.
Alright kids—remember this for finals!—that’s how the interdemensional drug trade got started.”
